2. Principles
This website is designed as a static website without tracking, analytics cookies or advertising services. We only process the data you actively provide (e.g. via the contact or application form) and technically necessary server data when the site is accessed.
3. Hosting & server log files
The website is hosted by EDIS GmbH, Hauptplatz 3, 8010 Graz, Austria; the data is stored in a data centre in Austria (EU). A data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) is in place with the provider.
When the website is accessed, the server automatically stores access data in log files (IP address, date/time, requested resource, referrer, browser/OS identifier). The legal basis is the legitimate interest in secure, stable operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The log files are stored only as long as necessary for these purposes and then deleted.
4. Contact form & email
If you contact us via the contact form or by email, we process the data you provide (name, email, optionally company, phone, message) solely to handle your enquiry.
The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) or the performance of pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose, at the latest after statutory retention periods expire.
To prevent spam and abuse, your IP address is also processed and stored for a limited time when the form is submitted (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
5. Job applications
If you submit an application (online or by email), we process your application data and documents (e.g. CV, certificates) solely to carry out the application process.
The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) or your consent. In the event of a rejection, application documents are deleted at the latest after 6 months, unless you have consented to longer storage (e.g. for a talent pool).
Your uploaded documents are transmitted by email to the responsible mailbox; the copy created on the server for this purpose is automatically deleted immediately after successful sending. Only if delivery by email is not possible (e.g. for very large files) do the documents temporarily remain in a secured, non-public server area and are deleted at the latest after the stated period. Your IP address is additionally processed to prevent abuse when the form is submitted (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
6. Recipients / processors
Your data is only passed on to third parties insofar as this is necessary to fulfil the respective purpose. Processors engaged (Art. 28 GDPR): our hosting provider EDIS GmbH (data centre in Austria/EU) and, for sending the form notifications, Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd. via the Azure Communication Services service (data processed in a data centre within the EU/EEA). Data processing agreements are in place with both providers.
Your data is processed within the EU/EEA. Should a transfer to a third country occur in individual cases – e.g. via Microsoft as a processor – this takes place exclusively on the basis of appropriate safeguards (EU Standard Contractual Clauses).
7. Your rights
You have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). You can withdraw any consent given at any time with effect for the future.

8. Right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Austria this is the Austrian Data Protection Authority, Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna (www.dsb.gv.at).
